Cowboy country, West Texas 1969. Willa's pregnant & Lauren knows just what to do. Meanwhile, two contemporary musicians are trying to metabolize the overturning of Roe mere steps from the Texas capital. When the past and present narratives collide, the characters investigate the legacy of reproductive justice in Texas and try to center pleasure within difficult dialogues. 9/10 Beds is a meta-theatrical play with pop music moonlighting as a reproductive justice event.
